The White House said Wednesday that China operated a global fleet of spy balloons similar to the one it shot down last week after crossing the United States.
“These balloons are all part of a (Chinese) fleet of balloons developed to conduct surveillance operations,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on board. Air Force One. “In the last few years, Chinese balloons have previously been sighted in every country on five continents”.
