BENGALURU: US Embassy Ambassador Chargé d’Affaires Elizabeth Jones to Lead Largest US Delegation Ever Aero India which will be held here from 13 February.
“It will be an honor to lead the largest ever US delegation to Aero India to showcase the world-class equipment, training, capabilities and interoperability offered by industry and the US military,” said the Ambassador Jones.
“As India modernizes its defense capabilities, we certainly want to be the preferred partner. We are increasingly focused on mutually beneficial co-production and co-development partnerships. We regard India as an indispensable partner for a safer, more prosperous and more open, and a freer Indo-Pacific region,” he said.
A cross-section of US military members and impressive aircraft will also be in attendance at the five-day aerospace and defense expo, according to a press release released on Friday by the US consulate general in Chennai.
In the spirit of bilateral support to India’s largest aviation exhibition, the seven-member musical ensemble of the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific “Final Approach” will perform for audiences at Aero India on February 16 and at different venues in Bangalore all week, he said.
