EPL: Kane salvages point for Tottenham Hotspur at Chelsea with last-gasp header | Football News

LONDON: Harry Kane headed a last-minute equalizer to win Tottenham Hotspur a barely deserved 2-2 draw in a fiery premier league derby to chelsea Sunday in the Premier League.
Reece James appeared to have sealed the points for the hosts with a 77th-minute strike, but Kane rose to score a header from a corner six minutes into stoppage time.
As it happened: Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuché and his Spurs counterpart Antonio Contea former Chelsea boss, were both shown red cards after the final whistle as tempers boiled over on a sweltering afternoon in west London.
Centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly marked his home debut in style by volleying Chelsea past a 19th-minute corner and the hosts totally dominated the first half.
Chelsea remained in the ascendancy in the second half and should have wrapped up the points but were rocked when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalized in the 68th minute.

Tuchel was furious the goal was allowed, believing Kai Havertz had been fouled during the build-up, and clashed with Conte.
Havertz then fended off a glorious chance to put Chelsea back in front, but the hosts regained their lead in the 77th minute when James passed Hugo Lloris on a pass from Raheem Sterling – a goal that sent Tuchel gleefully onto the touchline.
Tottenham, who started the season optimistically, might have had few complaints had they gone home empty-handed, but Kane’s late intervention means he has four points from two games, like Chelsea.
Tottenham have won just once in their last 38 visits to Stamford Bridge in all competitions.
