CHANDIGARH: Former Chief Minister of Tripura and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Biplab Kumar Deb He was unhurt on Monday when his car crashed into a stationary vehicle on GT road in Haryana’s Panipat district, police said.
Deb, a Rajya Sabha and Haryana MP in charge of the BJP, was traveling from Delhi to Chandigarh when the accident occurred on a road between Samlakha and Panipat, they said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Samalkha) Om Prakash said no one was injured in the incident.
“A car had stopped on GT Road after its tire was punctured. Deb’s vehicle coming from behind crashed into the stopped car,” a police officer said.
