NEW DELHI: Applicants applying for subjects such as Mathematics and Accounting will have 15 to 20 minutes longer than for other subjects in the Common University Admissions Test-Graduation (CUET-UG) 2023. Also, The National Control Agency (NTA) also increased the number of subjects a candidate can choose, including languages, to 10.
The decision was made based on feedback from applicants and parents sought by the agency to make the system fairer and more transparent for applicants. One of the biggest complaints among CUET-UG candidates last year was that they could not complete the topics involving calculations in the 45 minutes allotted.
