Kremlin: Russia will achieve military goals in Ukraine

MOSCOW: The Kremlin said on Monday that Russia would achieve the goals of its “special military operation” in Ukraine, the Kremlin’s first response to major Ukrainian advances over the weekend in the Kharkov Region.
In a conference call with reporters, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also stated that there were no ongoing discussions on the possible demilitarization of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant – one of the main recommendations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) following its visit to the plant.
Peskov declined to answer questions about a possible mobilization to support the military campaign.
