NEW DELHI: Former Australian speed bowler great Brett Lee is happy to have Chris Gayle and Harbhajan Singh for company on the course League of Legends Cricket (LLC).
Lee, who will represent Manipal Tigershad also played the inaugural edition in the capital of Oman, Muscat.
“It was a great experience to play in the Legends League,” Lee said Saturday.
“Phase 1 in Oman was great and I’m happy to be back for season 2. After checking in, I had a great interaction with Christopher Gayle,” added Lee.
What brought him here was a nice encounter with field enemies fending off LLC’s field buddies.
“Playing with former opposition players and guys who were in opposition but also with teammates, a tournament I’m looking forward to,” Lee said.
“In this edition, I’m looking for a duel with my former teammate Mitchell Johnson as we haven’t played much against each other. Also, it would be fun to play alongside Harbhajan Singh.”
