Donald Trump has hinted that he could run for the US presidency again in 2024.

The former president was back on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania on Saturday — his first rally since the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago estate last month.

He told his supporters, “We’re leading Biden and everyone, including Republicans, by record numbers in the polls. So I might have to do it again. You’ll be…stay tuned. I have to. do it again. Do you hear that Oz? (Dr. Mehmet Oz, Senate candidate) Do it again. Might have to do it again.

“But first, we must achieve a historic victory for the Republican Party in November.”

He comes after the American president Joe Biden said Mr Trump’s supporters have an ideology that “looks at America and sees the carnage, the darkness and the desperation” as the midterm elections loom.

Mr Trump continues by describing the FBI search of his home in Florida as “one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration in American history” and repeated his claims that there was a witch hunt against him.

“The shameful raid and break-in to my home, Mar-a-Lago, was a travesty of justice that made a mockery of American laws, traditions and principles before the whole world. The whole world was watching. And they are shocked They are shocked.

“The Biden administration has invaded the home of its main political opponent, which is absolutely destroying him and everyone else in the polls, I hate to say it.”

He added: “The FBI and the Department of Justice have become vicious monsters controlled by radical left scoundrels, lawyers and the media who tell them what to do – you people there and when to do it. The FBI raided Trump’s property on August 8 as part of an investigation into whether the former president had taken classified files from the White House.

Empty folders marked “classified” were found among more than 11,000 government documents, according to the US Department of Justice.

Investigators leading the criminal investigation are focusing not only on why the records were stored at the estate, but also on whether the Trump team intentionally misled them about the illegal presence of secrets governmental.
