WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House said on Friday the United States had nothing to correct over U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan, following Beijing’s demands that Washington correct his “errors”.
White House national security spokesman John Kirby told reporters at a briefing that he would like to see tensions with China ease immediately, but that Beijing’s decision to suspend certain communication channels was irresponsible.
