Chopra, 24, was on the list of competitors for the Lausanne stage of the Diamond League Meeting August 26.

“Neeraj will participate in (Lausanne) if he is declared medically fit,” Sumariwalla told PTI on Saturday.
Chopra had missed the Birmingham CWG due to a “minor” groin sprain he suffered while winning a historic silver medal in the World’s Championships in Eugene, USA last month. He was advised a month’s rest.
“Neeraj is working on his rehabilitation and his team will take a call about the Lausanne Diamond League closer to the event,” a source said a few days ago.
Birmingham CWG Silver Medalist Avinash marten also featured in the men’s 3000m steeplechase event.
