A large antelope gored an employee to death in a wildlife park in southwestern Sweden, the park owner said Monday.

The incident happened last Sunday at the Oland Animal and Entertainment Park on the southwestern island of Oland.

Victim and park owner Richard Berglund were bringing the animals to the stables after the park was closed when an eland, the world’s largest antelope species, gored the employee, Berglund told reporters.

“He was a friend … we’re all in mourning,” Berglund said.
