Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the SUV version of the EQE, which makes it the first all-electric high-performance SUV from the house of the Mercedes-AMG high-performance and sports car brand. The AMG EQE SUV is based on the same Mercedes EQ platform like AMG EQE salon as well as the flagship AMG EQS salon.
Speaking of design, the AMG EQE SUV gets the AMG-specific black panel radiator grille, flanked by chunky LED headlights. Mercedes used an AMG Affalterbach logo on the hood of the SUV and not the three-pointed star, first for any Mercedes-AMG electric car. Just like the EQE and EQE sedans, aerodynamics was a major factor in the design of the EQE SUV, and it’s quite noticeable with its curvy design.
