TVS Raider 2022 motorcycle launched with SmartXonnect at Rs 99,990: prices, features, rivals

TV has introduced a new top-of-the-range variant for its Raider moto on its metaverse platform, namely TVS Motoverse. Priced at Rs 99,990, the new one Raider TV the variant gets an updated 5-inch TFT console with the company’s Bluetooth SmartXonnect connectivity.

Bluetooth connectivity adds features like turn-by-turn navigation, voice commands, call alerts, message notifications and music control. Other features like two driving modes (Eco and Power), low battery and service reminder, gear and position change indicator, maximum speed recorder, distance from empty and average fuel consumption. The bike has a 10 liter fuel tank and the bike weighs 123 kg.
No changes were made to the powertrain. That said, the Raider continues to be offered with an oil-cooled 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that produces 11.2hp of power and 11.2Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension configuration consists of a telescopic fork at the front, coupled with a 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear.

Braking functions are handled by 130mm drum brakes at both ends, along with an optional 240mm disc brake at the front. Colors offered with the Raider include Feiry Yellow, Blazing Blue, Striking Red, and Wicked Black. However, the new Raider SmartXonnect can only be purchased with the Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow color options. The Raider continues to stand up to the likes of Hero Glamor, Honda Shine, and Bajaj CT 125X.
