MELBOURNE: On Friday, Team India captain Rohit Sharma sweated in an optional net session tackling ground shots with his left hand to prepare Shaheen Shah Afridirhythm, swing and bounce in the marquee ‘Super 12clash here against Pakistan on 23 October in T20 World Cup.
Rohit tackled the quick down shots of both right and left handed pitchers looking to replicate the Pakistani bowling lineup that boasts of fast pitchers like Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah.
The Pakistani bowling team received a huge boost with the return of Afridi who was sidelined due to a knee injury.

INDIA AGAINST PAKISTAN

The left arm pacer dismissed Sharma and KL Rahul in last year’s T20 World Cup, helping Pakistan win against India.
Sharma also had a long chat with team manager Rahul Dravid during the goal session.
KARTHIK OR PANTS IN PLAY XI
It is highly unlikely that Rishabh trousers will make it to the eleven game against Pakistan when the youngster gave up the optional goal session and Dinesh Karthik spent quality time in the nets with long lines and training.
