When Sachin Tendulkar helped ‘Pele’ with ‘catch’ on Goa beach | Off the field News

PANAJI: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar posted a video on Tuesday where he is seen helping a fisherman bring his catch and later dine in his restaurant.
It showed Tendulkar interacting with a fisherman named Pele at Caranzalem beach, discussing traditional fishing.
Tendulkar was also seen helping the fisherman get his canoe out of the sea.
“My brother and I have continued this work. I want our generation to continue this work,” Pele told the batting master, asking him to support the traditional fishing community.
People enjoy seafood in Goa but no one realizes how difficult it is to catch it, Tendulkar said.

“The Kya hai yeh experience (what an experience it is), amazing. This is the first time dekha hai fishermen (seeing for the first time) take the boat inside, how much trouble they take”, he said.
Pele looked upset as he asked Tendulkar to join him for lunch.
“I am the happiest man on this earth. The world number one cricketer is helping a traditional fisherman. God bless your family, I am very rich today,” he said.
Later, Tendulkar, along with his son Arjun, was seen enjoying fish at Pele’s restaurant by the beach.
“Catch of the day, catches win games,” Tendulkar is heard saying in the video.
