NEW DELHI: Shraddha Walkar had accused her partner Aaftab Poonawala that he threatened to kill her and cut up her body in a letter written to police in 2020.
Newly surfaced letter, which sheds further light on grisly murder case, reveals Aaftab used thrash Shradda regularly.

“He has been beating me for six months,” reads the letter, dated November 23, 2020.
The letter stated that Aaftab’s parents were aware that he had beaten and tried to kill her.
“I lived with him until today because we were supposed to get married soon and we had his family’s blessing. From now on, I’m not willing to live with him. So any kind of bodily harm should be considered coming from him as he has he blackmailed me into killing or harming me whenever he sees me anywhere,” the letter read.
