Characters from the bottom of the sea to the ends of space soared above New York City for the 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
As always, the event was a gleeful exercise in absurdity, spawning shows like Papa Smurf, SpongeBob, and a few Pokemon that tower over anything they reviewed.
As locals and tourists alike gathered on the streets and in the windows of their skyscrapers to watch, Sky News rounded up some of the best images from Thursday’s event.
