Ukraine cancels search operations at Dnipro attack site

DNIPRO (UKRAINE): Ukraine said on Tuesday that rescuers had called off a search at a residential building in the central town of Dnipro that was destroyed by a Russian missile over the weekend, killing dozens of people.
“At 1:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. GMT) on January 17, search and rescue operations in the city of Dnipro at the site of the rocket attack were completed,” the state emergency service said.
He said 20 people were still missing and 44 people had been killed.
Saturday’s strike was one of the deadliest attacks since Russia invaded Ukraine nearly 11 months ago. The Kremlin denied that his forces were responsible.
The Ukrainian military said the block was hit by a Russian X-22 missile.
