Exclusive: Devoleena Bhattacharjee reacts to Asim Riaz calling Sidharth Shukla’s Bigg Boss 13 win ‘settled’; she says “I would just suggest people to go ahead and look for new opportunities”

Asim Riaz recently made headlines after making statements calling Sidharth Shukla’s Bigg Boss 13 win “fixed”. Devoleena Bhattacharjee who was also part of the season reacted to Asim’s comments.
Speaking exclusively to ETimes TV, Devoleena said: “Sid actually had a huge fan following and managed to achieve massive popularity with his Bigg Boss appearance. I don’t think fixing a winner would help the producers in any way… I’m done with Bigg Boss and can’t be a whiner. I can’t keep complaining that I got hurt on the show because of another contestant and had to quit, what was my mistake? I lost the opportunity to win to someone because I wasn’t eliminated in the public vote. We humans in life have to accept many facts which are not in our favor and keep moving forward. I see Sunny Leone, Nora Fatehi, who didn’t win but are stars today. They’re doing really great. I would just suggest people move on and look for new opportunities.”

For the uninitiated, Asim said the producers opened live voting 15 minutes before the winner was announced so that the winner changes because they didn’t want him to win. Reacting to this statement from Asim, Devoleena said, “I feel the attention of the producers is just to get the attention of the TRP and the public and they introduce these new activities just for the ratings. This is what I feel.”
Soon after Asim’s statement went viral, Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha indirectly mocked the former and tweeted, “Some people still don’t understand sher ek hi hai aur ek hi rehta hai.”

There was a section of internet users, who thought that Asim shouldn’t talk about Sidharth’s victory since he is gone.
