QUETTPAKISTAN: a kamikaze killed nine police officers in an attack on their truck in southwestern Pakistan on Monday, officials said.
“The suicide bomber was riding a motorcycle and hit the truck from behind,” senior police official Abdul Hai Aamir told AFP.
The incident occurred in Dhadar, the main city of Kachhi district, about 120 kilometers southeast of Quetta in Balochistan. At least 16 people were injured in the attack.
Mehmood Notezai, police chief of Kachhi district, told AFP that police were returning from a week-long cattle show where they had provided security.
