Canada will remove mandatory COVID-19 testing requirements for air travelers arriving from China, Hong Kong and Macau from March 17, Canada’s Public Health Agency said on Thursday.

Canada, like many other countries, imposed temporary testing measures on travelers to the region in January and data since then indicates the COVID situation has improved, the health ministry said in a statement.
