Pant is the only Indian to be picked in the ICC Men’s Test Team of 2022.
The 25-year-old has had a glorious 2022 with the bat, amassing 680 runs over 12 innings with a 61.81 ERA and 90.90 strike rate. He was two centuries and four fifty in the year.
He broke 21 sixes in Tests and was decent with the gloves off, producing six stumps and taking 23 catches.
