Balaghat: MP: Pilot and co-pilot killed after trainer plane crashes at Balaghat | News from India

BHOPAL/JABALPUR: A charter plane crashed Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of two people, including a trainee pilot.
A burned body was visible in the wreckage as authorities continued to search for another.
Balaghat Police responded quickly to the scene after receiving information about the incident.
According to police, the pilot was accompanied by a trainee pilot.
The aircraft involved was a trainee aircraft from Birsi Airport in Gondia district, Maharashtra which crashed near the border of Balaghat district, about 40 km from the district headquarters.
Police said the plane crashed in the dense forest of Bhakkutola village, under the jurisdiction of Kirnapur district police station.
Video footage captured at the scene portrays a body in the rubble. The causes of the accident are still unknown.
Meanwhile, a crowd of villagers has gathered at the scene, and police officers and the team present are conducting an investigation.
Interestingly, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is expected to arrive in Balaghat on March 20 to participate in Ladli Bahna Yojana program at Lanji tehsil, adjacent to Kirnapur.
