Myanmar: Some 800,000 affected by Cyclone Mocha in Myanmar: UN

GENEVA – At least 800,000 people in Myanmar are in need of emergency food and other assistance after Cyclone Mocha ripped through the conflict-torn country earlier this week, officials said on Friday. United Nations.
“The cyclone has left a trail of devastation across Myanmar Rakhine Statewith homes flattened, roads cut by uprooted trees, hospitals and schools destroyed, and telecommunications and power lines badly disrupted,” Anthea Webbthe United Nations World Food Program deputy regional director for Asia and the Pacific, told reporters in Geneva.
