Yashasvi Jaiswal has learnt the art of converting 50s into 100s from Virat Kohli: Virender Sehwag | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag hailed promising talent Yashasvi Jaiswal for being inspired by the approach of the legendary Virat Kohli in his quest to turn half centuries into centuries.
Yashasvi, a skilled left-handed batsman, currently sits an impressive third in the Orange Cap rankings.
“Yashasvi Jaiswal is a future star. He learned the art of converting 50s into 100s from Virat Kohli. Several batters throw their wickets after scoring 13 50s but Yashasvi is looking to build on. He has that temper to play big shots,” Virender Sehwag told Star Sports.
Yashasvi scored 575 points in 13 games at an average of 47.92, including a century and four fifty under his belt.
Yashasvi is just behind RCB’s Faf du Plessis (702 runs) and GT’s Shubman Gill (576 runs) in the most run getters tally.
