The recently reported results yielded a pass rate of 72.69, reflecting a notable increase of approximately 14% over the previous year. Despite disruptions to normal classroom learning and the shift to online education, students in Assam have shown resilience and determination, resulting in this significant improvement.
Gender performance in the Assam 10 class results also showed encouraging trends. While the passing percentage for the boys stood at an impressive 74.71, the passing percentage for the girls was recorded at 70.96,
Last year, his passing percentage had dropped to a daunting 56.49, one of the lowest in years. However, this year’s results have successfully surpassed the pre-Covid times of 2019, when the pass rate was 60.23.
Hridam Thakuria of Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli, Sonitpur district emerged as the top scorer in the state, scoring an outstanding score of 596 points out of 600. Hridam’s outstanding achievement showcases the students’ hard work and dedication to the pursuit of academic excellence. Furthermore, the results highlight the overall performance of the candidates, with a total of 94,913 passes with the first division, 1.48 lakh with the second division and 58,394 with the third division. Of the 4.15 lakh candidates who took the exam, 3.01 lakh students successfully passed the hurdle, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.

Ranoj Pegu, the Cabinet Minister for Education and Welfare of Simple Tribes and Backward Classes, Government of Assam, took to Twitter to announce the upcoming declaration of findings. In a tweet, he said, “SEBA will be declaring HSLC 2023 exam results today at 10am via https://sebaonline.org.”
The 10 Assam HSLC exams, conducted by SEBA, were held from 3rd to 20th March 2023. However, due to unfortunate paper loss incidents, the exam schedule was rescheduled and the exams were extended till 1st April. immense resilience and determination during this difficult time.
Once the results are declared, the students will receive their original grades and certificates through their respective schools in Assam. This process typically takes a few days after the results are announced.
As the clock approaches 10 in the morning, students, parents and teachers anxiously await the official release of the results. It’s a time of mixed emotions, with hopes for great scores and a bright future. The Council’s efforts to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process are commendable.

To check your SEBA HSLC results online, follow these six steps:
Visit SEBA official website: Go to the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) at https://sebaonline.org.
Find the Results section: Look for the “Results” or “Result 2023” section on the SEBA home page. Click on it to proceed.
Select HSLC Exam: Within the Results section, locate the link to your HSLC exam result or Matura Certificate. Click on it to enter the results verification page.
