Watch: Indian players catch up with Brian Lara in Trinidad | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Ahead of the second Test against West Indies from Thursday, Team India players met legendary Brian Lara on Wednesday in Trinidad.
India captain Rohit Sharma, star drummer Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane and Ruturaj Gaikwad were seen chatting with Lara in a video posted by BCCI on Twitter.

“When you’re in Trinidad you can’t miss meeting the legendary Brian Lara,” BCCI captioned the post.
Head coach Rahul Dravid, who had faced many battles against Lara in previous matches between India and West Indies, was also spotted engaging in a candid conversation.
After winning the first Test by one run and 141 runs, India will be hoping to wipe the slate clean in the two-game series.
The match will mark the 100th Test between the two teams and although India skipper Rohit Sharma said it would be a big occasion, his side are expected to dominate the West Indies as they did in the series opener in Dominica .

Rohit also ruled out drastic changes to the winning combination, but admitted bad weather didn’t help clear the track at Queens Park Oval.
“In Dominica (first test hall) we had a clear idea when we saw the pitch and knew the conditions. Here we don’t have clarity because it’s about rain, but I don’t think that there will be drastic changes. But whatever conditions are available, based on that, we will make that decision,” Rohit said.
