NEW DELHI: Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and his teammate Abrar Ahmad explored the city of Gall after beating Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the opening game of the two-game Test series.
During their excursion into town, Babar and Abrar captured a few moments to preserve the memories of their time together. The scenic beach and city vibe provided the perfect backdrop for their treasured snaps.
The official Twitter account of Pakistani cricket posted a delightful video capturing their fun outing.
In the video, Abrar can be seen happily playing cricket with locals, while Babar happily clicked selfies with cheering Lankan fans. Babar also tried his hand at kite flying, adding an extra layer of excitement to the outing. Amid the scenic beach backdrop, Abrar captured heartfelt photos of his captain cherishing the beautiful times together. At the end of the day, the duo ended the outing by clicking heartwarming selfies before saying goodbye to the enjoyable day.

Earlier on Thursday, fly-half Imam-ul-Haq displayed a brilliant batting performance to anchor Pakistan’s pursuit and secure a thrilling win over Sri Lanka in a nerve-wracking first Test in Galle.

The Pakistani team now travels to Colombo for the second and final test from Monday.
