India vs Pakistan: How have the arch-rivals fared after milestone T20Is? | Cricket News

The first India vs West Indies T20I on Thursday was the 200th T20I for the Indian senior Men’s team. With this they became just the second team after Pakistan to play 200 international matches in the shortest format of the game.

Pakistan have so far played 223 T20Is, winning 134 and losing 80. They have had 3 tied matches, of which they have won 1 and lost 2, while 6 have been no-results.

Their overall win percentage stands at – 60.08%.
In comparison, Team India who have played 200 T20I matches have so far won 127 and lost 64 games. 1 match finished tied, while they have tied and won 3 games. Their win percentage stands at – 63.50%.

Both teams have won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup once each. India won the inaugural edition in 2007, under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, beating Pakistan in the final by 5 runs. Pakistan meanwhile won the edition right after that in 2009, beating Sri Lanka in the final by 8 wickets.

India’s 201st T20I will be played on Sunday, August 6th, when Hardik Pandya and co. take on the West Indies in the second of five T20Is, aiming to level the series at 1-1.
