NEW DELHI: Recovering steadily from dengue fever, Indian opener Shubman Gill arrived in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. However, the elegant right-handed batsman’s participation in the highly anticipated World Cup showdown against arch-rivals Pakistan on Saturday remains uncertain.
Having sat out the initial two World Cup matches against Australia and Afghanistan, Gill’s return was captured in a video circulated on social media as he arrived in Ahmedabad.
When questioned by a group of reporters in the video about his participation in the mouth-watering clash against Pakistan, Gill maintained silence.
