NEW DELHI: In a historic feat during the last league clash of the ICC World Cup against the Netherlands in Bengaluru, the Indian batters achieved a milestone that had never occurred before in the history of the tournament.
Team India became the first team in a World Cup edition where top five batters scored fifty plus runs in an ODI innings.

The momentum was maintained by the star batter, Virat Kohli, who once again displayed his batting prowess by scoring 51 runs in 56 deliveries. Shreyas Iyer became the fourth batsman who got to his fifty when he smashed a cracking boundary.

Rohit notched up a 63-ball century against Afghanistan earlier in the tournament in Delhi.
