On November 25, Ukraine faced the largest drone attack with Russia targeting the country using 75 Iranian-made Shahed drones. This Wednesday, an additional 48 Shahed drones were launched.
According to CNN, Vadym Skibitsky, the deputy chief of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, warned that Russia was likely use a combination of missiles and drones for attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure during the winter.
Despite increased preparation by Ukraine’s defense and energy authorities this winter, Skibitsky warned that Russia’s strikes “will definitely not be such primitive attacks as last year.”
