NEW DELHI: Following their loss in the Test series opener in Perth, Pakistan look to bounce back as they take on an upbeat Australia in the second game in Melbourne, starting December 26 (Boxing Day Test).
Pakistan, who faced a heavy 360-run defeat in the first Test, arrived in Melbourne a few days ahead of the match and have been diligently preparing to level the series against Australia, who were recently crowned as ODI World Cup champions.
Before the upcoming match, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam engaged with fans in the stadium following Friday’s practice session and signed autographs for them.
While signing the autographs for the fans, a female fan asked for Babar’s hat but the star batter denied her request.

Babar scored 21 and 14 in the first Test.
India opener Shubman Gill’s reign at the top of of the ODI batters’ list was short-lived as he was replaced by Babar in the ICC Player Rankings issued on Wednesday.
The Indian attained the top spot during the ODI World Cup last month, but since then he has not played any ODI.
Babar is back at the top with 824 rating points, while Gill (810) is the second spot followed by teammates Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
