Security personnel promptly detained him at the boundary but Kohli intervened, urging them to show kindness towards the fan.

According to a police official, the young man, who appeared to be a devoted Kohli fan, possessed a valid ticket for the match and gained entry to the Holkar Stadium through the Narendra Hirwani Gate.
The official mentioned that the fan, fueled by a strong desire to meet the player, accessed the ground by scaling the fence of the spectators’ gallery.
The officer said that the youth was being interrogated.
