France summons Russian ambassador over attack on French humanitarian workers |

France will summon Russia’s ambassador on Monday following the death of two French humanitarian workers in Ukraine and an increase in Russian disinformation targeting France.
The incident occurred in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson on February 1 when two French volunteer aid workers were killed and three others were wounded in a Russian drone attack. Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne described the attack as an act of ‘barbarity’.
The diplomatic source said, “France will reiterate its condemnation of the Russian strikes.”
“It will also denounce an upsurge in disinformation targeting France,” added the source.
