Even opposition leaders saying ‘abki baar 400 paar’: PM Modi in MP | India News

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a rally in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, said now even the opposition leaders are saying”abki baar 400 paar” — BJP’s key poll plank ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha election due in a few months.
“Even opposition leaders in Parliament are now saying “abki baar 400 paar” for NDA”, said PM Modi.
Prime Minister was referring to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge‘s remark in Parliament.
During the Budget Session of Parliament a few days ago, PM Modi had taken a dig at Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks “Is bar 400 paar ho raha hai (this time you are claiming to cross 400 seats)”.
“Mallikarjun Kharge ji spoke in Rajya Sabha for a long time and I was thinking how he got the chance to speak for such a long time and then I realised that two special commanders around him were not there so he took advantage of it,” PM Modi had said referring to the absence of Sonia and Rahul from the House when Kharge was speaking.
Ek baat khushi ki rahi, unhone (Kharge) jo 400 seat NDA ke liye aashirwad diya hai … aapke aashirwad mere sar aankhon par,” the Prime Minister said. “Kharge ji thought aisa mauka phir kahan milega (I will not get such an opportunity) and scored fours & sixes,” he added.
