Tech giant Google announced the glanceable directions feature last year in February. It is a new setting in Google Maps which can be used simultaneously while navigating. The company has now started rolling out the feature for both Android and iOS users.

The Android app will use regular system notifications, while Google Maps on the iPhone will leverage high-profile Live Activities. Google Maps will display directions, offer real-time estimated time of arrival (ETA), and automatically adjust your route if you deviate from the original path.
