NEW DELHI: The Royal Malaysian Navy on Tuesday reported that ten people were killed when two helicopters crashed into each other while practicing for a naval parade.
The fatal collision took place at 9:32 a.m. local time (0132 GMT) on Tuesday at the Lumut naval base, which is situated in Perak, a state in western Malaysia.
“All victims were confirmed dead at the scene and sent to the Lumut army base hospital for identification,” the navy said in their statement.
