The inconsistent Mumbai Indians are set to face Delhi Capitals, riding high on their recent success, in an IPL clash on Saturday.
MI started the season poorly but managed to secure three victories in their last four games. However, a crushing nine-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals halted their resurgence.
Currently languishing in eighth place on the points table, Mumbai Indians cannot afford any more losses.
While MI’s batting has shown occasional promise, their bowling remains a significant concern. Jasprit Bumrah has been the standout performer, leading the attack with 13 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 6.37.
