NEW DELHI: Goldy Brar, the notorious gangster based in Canada, is alive, contrary to reports of his death that circulated on Tuesday, the United States cops confirmed.
The Fresno police department has now responded to the reports, saying that they are “untrue”.
In response to a query, Lieutenant William J Dooley said, “If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar’, we can confirm that this is absolutely not true.”
Brar, who is accused of orchestrating the killing of Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala, is the Man Friday of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who is lodged in a jail in Gujarat.Intelligence sources said a DNA test would have to be conducted to confirm if Brar is dead as he supposedly used a fake identity to enter US territory.
