Watch: Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan bows before Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Temple

AYODHYA: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan offers prayers at Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday. Khan said, “I came to Ayodhya twice in January.
The feeling which was there at that time is the same even today. I have visited Ayodhya many times. This is not just a matter of happiness for us. Instead, visiting Ayodhya and worshipping Shri Ram is a matter of pride”

In January of the previous year, Arif Mohammed Khan made a statement during an event, asserting that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, a prominent reformer, educationalist, and the founder of Aligarh Muslim University, had once appealed to people to refer to him as a Hindu.
At the event, which was organized by the Kerala Hindus of North America (KHNA) in Thiruvananthapuram, the Governor expressed his genuine grievance towards the Arya Samaj members, questioning, “But, my serious complaint against you (Arya Samaj members) is that why don’t you call me a Hindu? I do not consider Hindu as a religious term… Hindu is a geographical term.”
