A road accident involving the family of young actor Mathew Thomas occurred early this morning (May 15). Reportedly, the accident happened around 1 am when the jeep they were traveling in overturned and fell into a gutter on the national highway in Sasthamugal, which is currently under construction.
According to a report in Mathrubhumi, the deceased has been identified as Beena Daniel, a 61-year-old retired teacher.Despite being rushed to the hospital, Beena’s life could not be saved. The family was returning from attending a posthumous ceremony for a relative when the accident occurred.

Mathew’s father, Biju, mother, Susan, and Beena’s husband, Saju, sustained injuries and have been admitted to the hospital. Mathew’s brother, John, who was driving the vehicle, also suffered injuries, but his condition is improving.
