2 dead, 7 injured after shooting at US’s Pittsburgh bar

NEW DELHI: A shooting incident at a bar in suburban Pittsburgh has resulted in two fatalities and seven injuries, police reported on Sunday.
First responders found the bodies of an adult male and an adult female inside the bar around 3 am. Seven additional victims were located, with some transported from the scene and others arriving at area hospitals independently, according to a statement from Allegheny County police on social media.
One victim is in critical condition, while the remaining six sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, the statement said.
The Allegheny County police department’s homicide unit was roped in for assistance by the Penn Hills police department following an early morning incident at the Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in Penn Hills.
Preliminary details indicate that an altercation occurred inside the bar, leading to multiple individuals opening fire, county police reported. The statement did not clarify whether any suspects are in custody while the authorities are still collecting information related to this incident.
