NEW DELHI: An Akasa Air flight from Delhi to Mumbai on Monday was diverted to Ahmedabad after it received a ‘security alert on board.’
Flight QP 1719, which was carrying 187 landed at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 10.13am. All passengers safely deboarded at the airport, a statement by Akasa Air said.
“Akasa Air flight QP 1719, flying from Delhi to Mumbai on June 03, 2024, and carrying 186 passengers, 1 infant and six crew members on board, received a security alert on board,” the statement said.
