‘Take up yoga, meditation’: Kangana Ranaut asks those praising CISF cop if they are ok with rape or murder | India News

NEW DELHI: Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut on Saturday criticised those applauding a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable who allegedly slapped her at the Chandigarh airport and asked if they would also find it acceptable if someone was subjected to rape or murder.
“Every rapist, murderer or thief always have a strong emotional, physical, psychological or financial reason to commit a crime, no crime ever happens without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail,” she wrote.
In a tweet, Kangana wrote, “If you are aligned with the criminals’ strong emotional impulse to commit a crime violating all laws of the land. Remember if you are ok with breaking into someone’s intimate zone, without their permission touching their bodies and assaulting them then deep down you are ok with rape or murder also because that’s also just penetration or stab only.”
“I suggest please take up yoga and meditation or else life will become a bitter and burdensome experience, don’t carry so much grudge, hate and jealousy please, free yourself,” she added.

CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur was accused of ‘voluntarily causing hurt’ and ‘wrongful restraint’ in an FIR filed by Mohali police on Friday. The charges stemmed from her alleged act of confronting and slapping Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport.
Following Kangana’s complaint, the CISF suspended Kulwinder Kaur. Despite her suspension, Kulwinder has received support from various individuals and organizations, some of whom have offered her monetary and legal assistance in case she is arrested or dismissed from her job.
