NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Sophie Devine measured Brabourne’s pitch in the very first run, then went berserk to score 24 points in one during their Women’s Premier League (WPL) Match against Gujarat Giants in Bombay on Saturday.
RCB, who were 39/0 after two overs, got off to a flying start in their 189-point chase against the Giants. Devine missed a well deserved century as she went out on 99 which came in just 36 balls.
Devine, who has become the league’s leading scorer so far, mocked the Giants’ bowling as her blitzkrieg shot included 9 fours and 8 sixes.

The incident happened early in the second inning of the inning when Kiwi batter Devine went hammer and pinch against an off-break bowler. Ashleigh Gardner Giants.

Gardner tried to do something different but Devine was in no mood to slow down as she landed another hard shot for a biggie and this time went deep into the wicket.
Devine finished the course with a well-timed ground drive to the middle right to get another boundary.
