Despite having only one fifer, Narine has proved to be a consistent wicket-taker, boasting four four-wicket hauls in the T20 extravaganza.
Meanwhile, Ashwin, the stalwart Indian spinner, trails closely behind with 172 wickets from 204 matches and 201 innings, highlighting Narine’s remarkable ascent in the IPL pantheon.

At the pinnacle of the wicket-takers’ list stands Yuzvendra Chahal, with an impressive tally of 200 scalps in 153 matches. Chahal’s stellar bowling displays, coupled with six four-wicket hauls and a memorable five-wicket haul, cement his status as the premier wicket-taker in the IPL.

In the electrifying clash between PBKS and KKR, Narine’s milestone moment added to the excitement as Kolkata, propelled by blistering knocks from Narine himself and opener Philip Salt, posted a formidable total of 261/6. Despite Narine’s valiant efforts with the ball, PBKS, led by Jonny Bairstow and Shashank Singh, scripted history by successfully chasing down the mammoth target.
