WATCH: Substitute Vishnu Vinod takes a wobbling catch to dismiss Faf du Plessis | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Mumbai Indians wicket-beater keeper Vishnu Vinod made his presence felt on the pitch as he made a wobbly hold to clear Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Faf du Plessis as he came on as a substitute outfielder in an IPL match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday .
The incident happened in round 15 of the innings when a well-placed du Plessis went for a premeditated scoop cameron greenis wide on the outside of the delivery.
But the RCB captain looked away from the ball at the point of contact and missed as the ball went to the short, thin leg where Vinod got his hands on a juggling hold on the third attempt.

The opener for RCB du Plessis (65 from 41 balls) held a set, despite the loss of Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat with a score of 16, and put on a good stand of 120 points with Glenn Maxwell (68 from 33 balls ) for the third wicket.

Du Plessis hit five limits and three sixes in his brave shot while Maxwell slammed eight fours and four maximums during his eventful stay in the middle.
